Buttons and such go black? Memory or graphics issue?

    Hi all,
I am running access 2016 and have a large db and if i add a lot of files sometimes my buttons go black and i have to close and reopen the form to get the color back. Running i7 chip, AMD Radon 5450 and 16gb of ram
    Dell Precision Tower
Not sure what the issue would be, any suggestions?

What do you mean by 'add a lot of files'? Adding where and how?

    Hi June7
Adding them by forms Such as following. If I add lots of purchases to it, the buttons on the Account Detail Form Circled in yellow go black! Still work but have to close form and reopen to get color back
As i go through different accounts and open forms to add purchase, invoice, make payment after about 15-20 the buttons circled in yellow just go black like a video issue possibly? Maybe i need a more powerful graphics card?

    So adding records, not files?

Never seen this so your guesses are as good as anything.

Can you test on another computer?

Also Use the task manager to see what memory is being used up, and what other processes are eating up your resources.

    You could try:
    1. testing if available connections are running low
    2. increasing the MaxLocksPerFile setting
    3. increasing the MaxBufferSize setting
    4. Updating the driver for your graphics card
    5. Replacing your graphics card
