How to get access to a database that requires Shift to make changes (Bypass issue)

    HELP!

I have a database which now requires holding down the Shift key to be able to bypass restrictions.

I cannot remember how I set that and now I want to undo it.

I cannot find anything in the options page for current database that covers it.

Using Access 365. The file is an Accdb file.

Exactly what happens when you don't use shift key - what has been restricted?

After you have db open, go into Options and make sure navigation pane, ribbon, and shortcut menus have not been disabled.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Perhaps you have been playing around with the AllowBypassKey in the db properties?[/COLOR]

Assuming you have some access to the database currently, Read my article Improve Security 2 - Mendip Data Systems (isladogs.co.uk) and REVERSE the steps already taken as necessary.
