    Microsoft Access 2003-Missing Records??

    Hi Everyone,

I am currently using M.A. 2003 where a small database was built so that my company can enter and invoice orders.

There are some orders entered last october and when I tried to go back to find the records recently in the database by the primarily key, name, po #...it doesn't find the record.

I have no idea why suddenly certain records are missing from the database as though I never entered it but I know I did for sure.

Does anyone know what it means when your database mysteriously have records disappearing and there is no error message giving the impression that something is wrong with the program.

    Thanks for any help,

ask your self how many people have the ability (and maybe not the knowledge) to build "update" and 'delete' queries and that is the number of possibilities for data loss. a program that keeps critical data for a company should be compiled as an MDE file. It is compiled so that users can't get to and play with dangerious tools. Sorry.
