    Cancel Convert to Local Table

    Hello everyone,

I am using on a daily basis an Access file on which I update the source material clicking on Linked table Manager.

However, just below is another button Convert to Local Table which I never used, and I clicked on it by mistake.

The Linked table Manager became grey, as well as the Convert to local table.

I tried to close the document, no notification from Access to save it, and when reopening, is stays grey the same.

How can I get it back to normal?

delete the local table then relink it?
I update the source material clicking on Linked table Manager.
What does that mean? You are thinking that you have to relink the same tables to get the latest data? You don't have to do that.

No need to delete the table (ala removed from db)
use the LINK TABLE MANAGER and it will refresh the table with latest updates.

but yes, you can delete the table , then relink it back.
