    Calendar control

Is there anything like an Outlook active X control or similar available for Access?

I have a database that will be very much appointment based. I want to be able to plot appointment for several different people (about 20). I would like to see an overview of all appointments but also a view for each individual so to have a view of their own appointments only. I would also like to be able to plot other events such as meetings, annual leave, sickness, back holidays, weekends etc. Does anyone have an example/ tutorial/ or explain (in layman terms) how to do this + point me at a control that would help.

After thought: or could Access possibly talk to/update a shared outlook calendar? (would prefer an Access form that looks like Outlook)

    Thanks in advance

    Have a look at this:

Monthly Calendar - Easy to use your data (accessforums.net)

Post #6 has an updated version.

Since posting this, I have enhanced the calendar with a weekly view as well.
If the calendar looks promising, PM me about the weekly enhancement.

Thanks Davegri that looks at first glance to be perfect! I see from your comments that you have added a weekly view, daily would be fantastic! I'll go and have a play, my only concern is that I am relatively a novice so hope I can get my head around it. Thanks
