When I attempt to use the elevator to a select a table the screen automatically changes to forms. And I can only select a Listed forms.

I have compacted and repaired the database with no joy. Any help would be welcome.

What do you get if you select the other option?

Hmm, just tried on my 2007 and it does the same thing?

However if you just press Next, you get a combo for the tables.?
Or just set the source object for the subform in properties.

I found this answer that is a WORKAROUND on a different forum

If you're less concerned about the wizard working than you are about just getting a subform added to a form, you could use these steps to manually create one:

    1. Add your subform control the same way you would normally, except this time cancel out of the wizard

    2. Right-click on the subform object in your form and choose 'Properties'. This should pop up the property sheet on the right-hand side of the screen

    3. Click on the Data tab in the property sheet

    4. Manually add the fields you would link on to the Link Master Fields and Link Child Fields properties.

    Hi
Just Tested using Microsoft 365 - Access Version 2109

Using the Wizard and Step1 shows as Normal

Then select Next and Step2 shows as normal.Click image for larger version.

I think you have them backwards Mike?
At least in 2007, the second pic comes first, THEN your first pic?

    Hi Welshgasman
I blame the site as I definitely added them in the correct order.

I think it depends on the cursor position?
