Send SMS using Access 2019

Hi, I am a basic access user, making simple databases.

I have a database in use for creating simple event booking receipts for customers for required dates. I wish to send sms to that customer once receipt is generated for informing the customer and another sms as reminder on the previous day of the event.


As I have no idea bout this, please help me to do it from scratch.

To do this just with vba is not possible, you need to subscribe to a service which you then communicate with via vba. Google/bing 'twilio' and 'send sms from vba'. There are plenty of services and you will find a number of links on this and other forums as to how to do it with the service you choose.

It explains most of the steps I went through a few years ago in developing my own solution using Twilio as a provider.
