    Volunteer management application

    Good day,

Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care is a not for profit organization offering free palliative care services to terminally ill patients and their families with a staff of volunteers. We want to track volunteer hours ( smallest incriment of time = 5 minutes). There are thirty volunteers serving three Long Term Care Facilities with numerous clients ( patients ).

Tracking volunteer hours is required to apply for government funding to support the hospice care we supply.

Is there an existing application ( hopefully free ), that we could use for this purpose? Any help would be really appreciated.

    Regards,
    Bill

Thank you for the quick reply. I have looked at this application and it may not suit all our needs. As well as tracking volunteer hours, we need to store data on clients ( those who are sick and dying ) as well. So, our situation is such that there are Volunteers attached to a site ( long term care facility) and assigned to clients in that site. We would collect time data with the smallest increment being 5 minutes and have the ability to report volunteer hours by government criteria which includes volunteer hours, and hours by types of clients as to age and medical condition. Perhaps more than timeclock can handle.

    Regards,
    Bill

I highly doubt you'll find anything for free that will be that tailored to your needs. If you have something already going and you have specific questions, we'd be more than happy to help. Otherwise, I think you may end up spending some money for something like that.
