    No warnings on Delete Macro

I have two forms, both with an identical button to run a macro to delete a record.

On one form, when I press the button, I get the usual warning and option about deleting a record

On the second form, the record deletes with no warning.

The button on the second form is a direct copy of the one on the first form so they are identical, other than their name. (They were also constructed by the Button Wizard, not me). I have checked the form properties, and control properties, and there is no difference between them. Both forms have tables, not queries, as their source. Does anyone have any idea why this would be the case? I also ran the compact and repair database option

It's not enormously important as I can put my own warning message in, but I don't understand why this would happen.

Would appreciate any suggestions anyone has.

    Thanks in advance

If you don't experience this if you reverse the order of which one you click first, then when this happens the first one might be turning off warnings but not turning them back on.
This question was posted in macros section so I suspect there's no code to show unless it gets converted to code first.

Thank you for your replies...I'm sorry I only just saw them as I didn't realize the email address is old and I didn't get any notification.

And now I can't answer your questions, because I amended both buttons from what they were when I posted this query! They both work so that's the main thing, and I apologize for wasting your time....

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
