I wouldn't be surprised that any difficulties you have are related to the MVF's.

    Take a look at this article . . . http://www.mendipdatasystems.co.uk/m...lds/4594468763

In addition to moke's comment, I suggest you describe WHAT you are trying to achieve in simple English.
Tell us about your proposed car database.

My main and only form should automatically fill in the corresponding fields in the subform, first row from left in subform

My combo boxes works so far until Year start and stop and is/should do the lookup from Car Lookup table. Year start and stop should get the min year and stop max year from the earlier chosen data (Middle row). The last 2 fields "Extra 2 and 3 YL) is manual typing.

Database now attched and will make more sense. Any help is much appreciated

    Hi

Sorry but your Form is based on 2 tables and makes no sense at all.

Normally you would have a Main Form based on 1 table with a Subform based on the related records.

Can you explain what it is you are trying to achieve?
You can PM me if you need further help.

The subform should create the second table, alas the the car base table, so they match together and to make that easier by lookups
