    Hi Micron
I was in a rush & assumed the post was by the OP. Somehow I didn't notice until now it was from you. Not sure how!

I've now rechecked for the second time on a different workstation. So its now been tested in A2010 32-bit, A365 32-bit & A365 64-bit
The database I uploaded is definitely fully compiled.
There is only place that strUserName is defined - in Module 1. There are only three occurrences of strUserName anywhere in the code

I have absolutely no idea why you got that message - if you can find something I've missed, let me know

Attached is version 2A with the two missing code lines added to the declarations section of frm_Login code module. Otherwise NO other changes made. Do you still get an error?

When I test such db's I often copy forms, etc. where I'm going to modify code. That way I can revert back to original without having to unzip a new file.
First time I have copied a module, especially without commenting out the code to prevent compile errors.
I continue to amaze myself with what I can overlook. Sorry to put you through that unnecessary effort.

LOL. I thought I was going completely mad!
Having managed to miss your name, I thought I must have overlooked something obvious. Glad to know that, on this occasion, it wasn't me!
