Table missing from query design view

I have a query that all of a sudden is missing the table in design view. The query works as designed. All other queries in the database show the table in design view. I need to make some changes to the query but can't since the table is not showing. Any ideas?

It was there before? Then perhaps it was changed to a hidden table. Or if the db is old enough it could have permissions set on it - something you could do in db's that used permissions file (mdw) for security. You could put it in sql view, copy the sql, start a new query and paste the sql in and look at that in design view to see if it shows up.

This should show all tables, just like when you first create a query.

Or simply the table has been moved to a different part of the display area outside the screen view. Do you see scrollbars? If so scroll around the area.

Alternatively copy/paste the sql to a new query

The table had been visible until today. This is a database created using the latest version of Office 365. I do have scroll bars but a thorough search did not find the table. I did copy the SQL and create another query and the table shows. I can use that query but its would be nice to know what happened.

No idea, my guess would be it was outside the visible display and scrolling would find it eventually. If you still have it, submit the query and table(s) in a dB for us to have a look at it
