    Question Creating Macro to Find and Replace

    I wish to create a Macro that finds records and replaces an entry.



    Before
    Sell? In Possession
    YES Present
    Present
    YES Present
    Present


    After
    Sell? In Possession
    YES Sold
    Present
    YES Sold
    Present


    Any guidence on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

    You would use an Update query normally.

    Use the Query Builder for a select query, then change to update query.

    Can you explain how to create a Macro. Access is not the most familiar of software for me.

    Create the update query
    Then create the macro to run it with OpenQuery option

    There are many tutorials for macro coding on the web. I am sure you could find something that would familiarize you with the basics.
