    Question Inputting Attendance information

In Access I have created a Table with ID Numbers and the purpose of the table is to mark attendance using information stored in excel. To give an example:

    ID 2017 2018 2019 2020
    05019375682 YES YES
    05019375748 YES YES
    05019375671 YES YES
    05019375699 YES YES

Using a list of data from an excel sheet (These columns represent individual excel documents)
    2017 2018 2019 2020
    05019375682 05019375748 05019375699 05019375748
    05019375699 05019375682 05019375671
    05019375671

Any guidence on how I can input information using excel sources into an existing table will be greatly appreciated.

Unclear if both those examples are just the Excel data or one is actually an example of your Access table. If the latter, you are off on the wrong foot as Access tables and Excel sheets must not to be designed the same way. In that case, you should read

Normalization Parts I, II, III, IV, and V
    http://rogersaccessblog.blogspot.com...on-part-i.html
    and/or
    http://holowczak.com/database-normalization/

Once properly designed, getting Excel data into Access can be done a few ways: TransferSpreadsheet function; link sheet as an Access table; Automation - to name but a few.
The more we hear silence, the more we begin to think about our value in this universe.

load the excel sheet into the correct format access table as:

    ID, YEAR, ATTEND
    05019375682, 2017, yes

link the excel sheet as external table, then run queries on each year to put into access.
then you can report on anything.
