Show Username in dropdown but record UserID in table.

    Hi, all.

I have a form that collects new users. The user completing the form clicks a dropdown to select the referring user. I want to display the user name in the dropdown, but have it store the userID in table when the record is complete.

    How do I do that?

    Thanks.

    Jason

That is typically how you use a ComboBox. Have you tried to let the ComboBox wizard create the control for you? It knows how to do what you want.

Thank you, RuralGuy. I didn't realize it worked like that.
