    Form Based On A Form

I see that it's possible to create a form based on another form. I know nothing but it sounds like a bad idea...kind of like crossing streams in Ghost Busters.

I have a subform in datasheet and wanted to create something a little more user friendly for entering new records into the subform.

The easiest way would be to create a form based on the existing form. Is this a bad idea?

    Thanks

you can just by opening the form then SAVE AS, then modify that. I do it all the time.
you can edit data directly into the datasheet subform too.

The easiest would be to change the view - especially if you're talking about keeping 2 forms that are the same just because of the view?
    - "doesn't work" doesn't help. Implement changes in copies of your database.
