I can't seem to wrap my brain around this. Cascade update related fields in a relationship. Does this mean that the data in the fields will change? Or just things like the primary key and field names?

As the name implies, if you change a value in the parent field, the joined field will be updated to that same value where the joined field is part of the cascade. Field names will not change. Some reading

If the primary key is an autonumber, this isn't an issue since you can't change an autonumber anyway.
