Prompting for Parameter Value after it was deleted from the source

    Hi All,

I had built a report using a date field from a table. I have since adjusted the make table and decided to remove the date from source. When I run the report which is still referencing the same table, it still prompts me for this field. How can I stop this from happening?

    Thanks in advance,

    Eric

    remove the date from source
    And that "source" is?
Remove the date field from the report query and/or remove the control on the report that was bound to the date field. You would also need to modify any expression in a query field or report control that refers to that date field.

Maybe you still are requiring a sort on a deleted field.

The date field was part of the make table query that is no longer part of building the new make table. There are no calculations that this field uses and it is was not tied to anything.

Is the report based on the resultant table of the make-table query and not a query based on that? If yes I suggest you open the report in design view and inspect the Filter and Order properties along with the goup and sort (which I believe you said you already did).

Or copy, compact and zip a db copy and post here. A left over reference is in there somewhere.
