About MS Access edited record property for each form when SQL Server is Back End.

    Hi Dear Friends,

Normally when we created a MS Access Database application and when we want many users to use it simultaneously, we set the edited record and make it shared database. But when we created our tables in SQL Server and then make them linked table in Access, Is this process changing? Or do we have to still make the same settings over the Front End Access for the multi-user Environment?

    Thanks

no matter the backend , no 2 people can edit the same record. I hope that is the case.
Once you have the SQL tables linked as backend, you dont need to do anything else.

NOTE: EVERY person will require their OWN copy of the Frontend.
I have my users in network folders, then I can update everyone, with another app that copies updates to their home net folder.
