    Hi Gary,

I did not create a new report, what I did I converted the code in the form to VBA (it was all macros before) and adapted it to take the filters from the drop-down (I had to also tweak the reports' record sources to match the filters).

I will send you a launcher with your logo, would you please let me know if you are using Office 32 bit or 64 bit?
    Cheers,
    Vlad

Hi Vlad, my machine is using Office 365 64 bit while some of the other user's machines are using 32 bit.

    Regards,
    Gary

    Hi Vlad,

I was wondering if the information regarding the Office version I posted was OK?

    Cheers,
    Gary

    Hi Gary,
Yes, thank you, because you have two versions I would have to send you two launchers, as they are accde and need to be compiled for each version (32 and 64 bit). Have you managed to split your database? Have you made any changes to it? If the answer is no to both questions then I can split it for you and add the launcher feature. We would also need to add a small switchboard type form to open when the db opens so it can display the current version number.
    Please let me know!
    Cheers,
    Vlad

    Hi Vlad,

I have added another filter (2xWeeks ago) and removed the 'Sick' filter from the filter table. I've also added our logo and slightly changed the design of the report template. I did successfully manage to split a copy of the db just to try it out, but have not split the one we are currently using.
I have attached a zipped copy of the db (64 bit) with user names removed.

    Thanks,
    Gary

    Hi Gary,

Here are your files. The back-end goes on the network in a folder available (read\write) to all users. In that same folder you can place the "master" copy of the front-end (the latest version you want to distribute). Each user should have a folder in their local drive (C:\) where they have the launcher corresponding to the bitness of their Microsoft Office. Then create a desktop shortcut pointing to that.

Before you give them the launchers you need to open both of them holding down the Shift key until they open and fill in the missing info in the hlpSettings table.

Please feel free to send me a private message if you need more help with the setup.

    Cheers,
    Vlad
