    subform not updating

    I have a tblPhones (ABOVE)connected to my main Members table via pk (IDMembers)-->fk (MemberID) in tblphones. However as I navigate from the main tblMembers, the appropriate phone records DO NOT SHOW.Attachment 43894

    looks like

    a) your subform is in single form mode, not continuous (you are on record 6 which would appear to be for member 2, whilst your main form is on member 1)
    b) you have not specified the linkchild and linkmaster properties in the subform control - if you have defined the relationship in the relationships window these will be populated automatically when the subform control is created so
    c) you don't appear to have defined your relationship in the relationships window

    and d) your subform does not appear to allow additions - this may be by design or maybe not

    thanks for the kickstart. your observations are spot on. i recreated the sub usinf the wizard and it worked a lot better....
