    PLEASE HELP

I created a database called MFSNew with the following:

    1. I created the relationship as you can see.
    2. Three tables were created
    3. Two queries were created.
    4. A Main form with a subform
    5. Two report structures.

This picture shows the layout of the main form.

    Report for main member list

    Report for All Members

    SCENARIO:
Let's say you created a member with one dependent. And create a 2nd member with 2 dependents. And a third member with 0 dependents. Save them.

    QUESTION:
Why is it that when you printview the report for Main Member List - all the main members appear, but when you printview the All Members report only the main members with dependents are shown. The one without a dependent does not show. Is there a way I can show the one without dependents as well. I need all of them on one list.

    Regards
    Mark Meyer

I see no pics in your post so this is just a guess. Report view shows all records in a continuous view that you can scroll, much like a web page. Print preview shows a per page view. You have to use the navigation controls that show in this view so you can move through the pages and see the records that you're not seeing.

also just a guess due to lack of information - use a left join between members and dependants - i.e. 'show all member and dependants where they exist'

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
