Cant edit or enter new record in new form

Some days I feel like a God masterfully creating poetry in Access, and other times (like today) it feels like I have just opened Access for the first time and nothing works and I don't know why.

I can promise that I spend a fair amount of time trying to figure it out on my own before bothering everyone here, anyway thanks for the help

I created a brand new Table for "Bridge Loan Transactions"

New table, new query, and new form (Continuous format)

unable to edit the form/ enter new records

have tried all the properties in the form itself and the fields

Had this same problem yesterday and couldn't figure it out and just moved on to some other thins i was working on figuring I had done something wrong and would try again today but same issue

    Is the forms query updateable?
If you open the query can you enter info?
If this helped, please click the star * at the bottom left and add to my reputation- Thanks

    OK, I got it.

Changed the nature of that relationship of TransTypeID and now it works.

but honestly I don't understand why
