    normalizing imported Excel-data

    Hi,

I have an Excel-file with "rough" data to import into an exising Access-database.
Two colums of the Excel-file contain repeating values, so I want to normalize; other columns have random data that cannot be normalized

    - repeating data of one column has to be linked to a new table; I suppose this can be done with the wizard
    - repeating data of the second column is the same of those in an existing table.

How can I link/refer that second column?

    Wim

Import the XL to a temp table ,then use queries to manipulate it to put into the normalized tables.
