    Splitting a database

    Hello.
With so many people working from home these days, some with poor internet connections, my database is frequently getting corrupted. Most notably, all of the code disappears. I have never tried splitting a database before, but I am learning about it now. Will this solve that problem, even though from what I understand so far, the code stays on the front end? If so, I assume that when the FE becomes corrupt & the code disappears, it only happens to the one user, and the fix would be for them to recopy the FE from the network back on to their C: drive?
Any advise about potential issues and things not to do would be appreciated.

Yes, split the database. Should have long time ago.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

everything stays in the front end, except tables. Also recommend you make the front ends .accde which further reduces the risk of corruption.

If working from home becomes the norm, take a look at the link in post #2 of this thread https://www.accessforums.net/showthr...972#post462972
