Cool Newbie to Access Reports - Need to increase height of the report past 22inches

    Hi,
I am absolutely new to Access Reports. I am a software engineer by trade and was requested to create another Report similar to the OnePage and TwoPage reports currently defined in the database. It seems strange to me that you would need to do this in the first place. Can't I just create one report that loops through as many pages are required?

Yes. Reports can have thousands of pages if needed!

A report will 'grow' to output records to as many pages as needed.

Design area for forms and reports is limited to 22 inches, period.

    Can use subforms and subreports.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions, but since the report needs to print 3 pages for each record, I think I will need to create my own PDF file to accomplish what is being requested.

Think you are giving up too easily. I have developed reports in the past relating to one item (e.g. structural engineering report for a building, up to 50 pages. Financial report for a company, including directors notes etc, around 15 pages)

Perhaps provide an example of your report requirement and we can either agree with you - it can't be done - or show you how it could be done

Could build 3 reports and code print them sequentially. But this can be an issue with multiple users outputting to same printer. Or code could output 3 reports to 3 PDF files then combine to one PDF. Or manipulate a fill-in PDF. Or merge with Word doc. What exactly are these report pages composed of - a lot of 'boiler plate' text?

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
