    Formatting while using Groups

    Greetings all,

I am having a small formatting issue with one of my reports.
The layout has been setup so that I can arrange the output on the report to be arranged in groups.

However, when a secondary group is displayed, it puts the title of the group in the previous grouping, not really allowing it to appear as a separation or making it easy to spot while scrolling through the data.

Here are some screenshots to clarify what I am referring to:

PIC #2 - Second group title : Notice how the Digibird title is still located within the gray row, making it blend into the previous group's information

Is anyone familiar with this type of formatting? I'm simply looking for a way to have the title of the next group segregated from the previous group's data.

    Regards

Have you tried dragging the Page Footer down a bit, to show some space under "Notes"
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Yes sir, I have. All that did was extend the portion of the gray area, the row containing the title.

I tried spacing a few different things but it really did not change the outcome to what I am seeking. I think it has something to do with how the virtual-row containing the information gets anchored to the previous one... somehow... if that makes any sense.
I know there are no actual rows in the form/report, but the output on the report arranges them in a sense of having rows... e.g. the gray rows and white rows.

    Still fiddling with formatting.

Can you post a copy of the db. If you have sensitive data, remove it just need a few dummy records to illustrate the problem. Compact and repair, then zip it and attach to your post

It is a bit odd.. some of the reports seem to have the perfect formatting without me changing anything. See the pic below:

As you can see from this snippet, the title of the new group ends up between the two groups, as apposed to the first set of shots I posted.
I did not change anything from then until now.

I'll see if I can get it thinned out and uploaded as requested.
