    Lists and sublists

    Hi

I am new to access and needed same advice on design please?

I am trying to set up a therapy related site.
Each client will have one or more therapies to a specific site. Each site (need a list box with the option of choosing one or more) will have one or more options (these sub sites are nor the same for each site).
How can I do this in access and try to ensure that each site and sub site will be separate records in the dataset.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

In the Database Planning and Design link in my signature there are several articles in various formats. I recommend that you work through 1 or 2 of the tutorials from RogersAccessLibrary identified in the link. You'll learn a procedure for table and relationships design that you can use with yours or any database.
Working through each tutorial will take about 45 - 60 minutes AND you will learn.
There are several other articles that may be relevant to your project.

You may also find it helpful to read through the interactions in this thread where the poster was starting a new database.
    Good luck.

    Hi

So Many Clients can have Many Therapies

Many to Many requires 3 table - a table for Clients and Therapies and also a Junction table to join Clients & The Many Therapies.
You can PM me if you need further help.
