Stopping Microsoft Access 2007 becoming corrupted when importing photos.

I am using Microsoft 2007 for a database and it has worked well for about 12 months.
Has from 23rd August 2020 has soon has i try to import photo's (.jpg) the database becomes unstable and crashes.
when running the 'compact and repair' function, it says the database is unrecoverable.
This happens even with photo's that it has handled before.

If i don't import the photos the database continues to work fine

    thank in advance,
    Daniel

storing things like photo's in an access db will lead to bloat and you can quickly hit the 2Gb limit if the files are large. So check the file size of your db file, if it approaching 2Gb then that is your problem.

Usual practice is to store the files in a specified directory and just store the file name in the db, using a picture control to display the pictures.
