    Save Drafts

I had completed a carefully constructed thread which I thought had submitted. I returned here for replies and don't see it anywhere, including in my profile. I'm hoping there's a draft sitting around that I can use instead of starting from scratch. Is there a way to save drafts to where you can return and finish them later?

don't think so - if you know it is going to take time, suggest construct in word or notepad then copy/paste when done

    This may have helped:

Just did a brief test and it worked, though not if I got out too quickly. The thread mentions 60 seconds, and the test worked when I waited that that long.

Thanks. I thought it had been posted, but I guess I didn't pull the trigger on it. I often compose offline, but not in this case.

    Paul,

Thanks for the suggestion. It looked like just what I needed, but when I opened "Post New Thread" in the forum the Restore Auto Saved Content link was not there.

It only worked for me if I made sure the 60ish seconds had passed before I closed the unsaved message. We can ask Matrix if it still doesn't seem to work for you.
