Check out Access Programming by Example by Julitta Korol.

I actually learned a lot of VBA syntax and vocabulary from some old VB6 references. The languages are very similar.

Steve Bishop has some VBA series of youtube.
There are more related articles/tutorials in the Database Planning and Design link in my signature.
Here is a link to a pdf on Ms Access VBA Techniques.
    Good luck.

I would also recommend Steve Bishop's video tutorials. Over 100 in all from beginner through to advanced and totally free.

In my opinion the best Access books ever were the two volume set Access 2000 Developers Handbook. There is also a 2002 version.
Although very old most of the content is still appropriate.
Second hand copies can still be obtained at a low price online
However not really aimed at beginners.

    Hi
The books have been out of print for many years so I can't provide a link.
An online search should help you track down a copy for sale
