    Network connection interrupted

I recently upgraded from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro. Ever since then I get a message that my network connection has been interrupted and I need to close the database and re-open it. This message appears when I click the Save button while working on any object in design view, so my work is not saved. I'm using Access 2010 working with split databases. It happens 4 or 5 times per day with all of the 4 databases that I manage. I have 20 other users that I want to upgrade to Win 10, but I want to resolve this issue before I do that. Any suggestions?

do you have the BE attached as linked tables?
I have this and never get network interrupts. Does the PC loose the connection?

Yes the BE is attached as linked tables. This only happens while working in Access and only since I upgraded to Win 10.

By any chance, is the workstation going idle? There is a Windows setting that will put the network adapter into sleep mode if the computer is idle. So, I'm thinking that perhaps updating to Win 10 changed that setting rather than it being something inherent to Win 10.

presume you are also hardwired to the location of the back end - if using a wireless connection you will get drops occasionally

Solved. The drive map policy must be set to update, not restore. In Win 10, if it is set to restore, the connection is dropped momentarily. This is not true in Win 7. When I upgraded from 7 to 10, the policy was not changed from restore to update during the upgrade process.
