    Problem with id

    I'm using ms access 2007


    after i insert data in table and then remove all data in table to start again. the Id start from the last number. is that possible
    to make it start from the 1 number.

    Doing a Compact and Repair should reset the Auto Number but this shouldn't be an issue anyway if the Auto Number ID field is the Primary Key. It shouldn't be used for any meaningful data, just a unique identifier of the record.
