    Common Field Sizes

Has anyone ever put together or come across a list of common fields width sizes?

    For example

    Address Line 2"
    City "1.5"
    Zip code .65"
    Phone number (10 digit) 1.1"

do you mean the physical width of a column when viewed in a table/query or a control on a form? If so it will depend on the font itself and properties such as size/bold/italic

What is it you are trying to achieve? Are you aware of the autofit functionality?

With table, query, or form in Datasheet: on the ribbon > Home > Records > More > Field Width > Best Fit

The longer of caption or data will determine width.

Click upper left corner to select all columns and rows if you want to apply to all at once.

hover over the right side of a column, then double click. Or select a range of columns then double click on the right side of one of the columns
