    EDI X12 Parse and Import

Can anyone recommend a cheap way to parse an EDI X12 file and import into MS Access?

    Thanks!

Import from what? Do you have sample file(s)?
Are you familiar with the various EDI X12 transaction sets?

Somewhat. I'm just beginning. I fulfill Amazon orders and interested in speeding things up as opposed to manually updating data in their GUI. I'm only interested in exchanging PO, Invoicing and routing data.

I have not done any EDI per se. But I have done parsing with vba.
The format of the EDI X12 810 Invoicing set up is described here

    I found a sample(data) of 810 file here.

You could import the sample file and create some functions to verify/validate the data an store same in a table(s). That would get you the data to be processed with Access. But then you may need(already have) a process to send data to amazon via XML/HTTP.

You might try searching for Access sending data to Amazon or similar.

Here's a link (sort of related--data and amazon) that may offer some insight.

Here's another link (same poster with Amazon data question).

    Good luck.
