Question Creating one record from many

I have a data source with the format:

    Name Feature 1 Feature 2 Feature 3
    Bob 1
    Bob -
    Bob 0
    Linda 0
    Linda 1
    Linda -
    Mary -
    Mary 1
    Mary 1

What I am trying to create is:
    Name Feature 1 Feature 2 Feature 3
    Bob 1 - 0
    Linda 0 1 -
    Mary - 1 1

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    James

Take a look at creating a "Crosstab" query

Looks more like need a regular aggregate, not a crosstab.

    SELECT [Name], Max(Feature1) AS F1, Max(Feature2) AS F2, Max(Feature3) AS F3 GROUP BY [Name];

If source data were normalized then a CROSSTAB would be appropriate.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
