    Refresh Steps

Hi there, I have 2 simple questions which I would like to ask.

    1. If the ODBC database had updated 2 columns in a certain table, how do I refresh my Linked Access Tables to include those tables?

What I was told was to remove and re add. However, is there a refresh button?

    2. If I have an Local Table and I included 2 other columns to it - how to I refresh an existing query so that in Design, I can see the newly added columns? If I had to remove Table and add Table into design, that was designed would be deleted.

    Thank you in advance.

    1. Use Link Table Manager to relink the 1 table. No need to checkmark the Other Source box.

    2. In the query, use *. Select * from table. Any added fields will come thru automatically.

but adding fields should not happen often.
