Lightbulb Accesing crashing from SELECT DISTINCT used on a query

Hi, I'm just curious whether it's normal for Access to crash when you use SELECT DISTINCT on a query. I can get around it by using create query instead of selection query and then I use it on the table, but it seems unnatural as I drop the table when I'm done anyway

Something is corrupt in your db. I get them from time to time.
delete the select query, then compact / repair.
if that wont work, create a new db from scratch and import all objects. That tends to work.
