combo box issue

Hi guy's hope you are all safe and well,

This is a new one that i haven't experienced, hoping someone can advise ?

When i try and select an option from a combo box, which is set to value list, the egg timer comes up and database closes !!!

There has been no VBA change on that combo box and it is used daily on lots of occasions, this is just started happening this morning ??

I have done a compact and repair hoping this would solve but no success

When "strange" things start happening they are often caused by corruption.

I would made a copy of the db to work with.
Try to create a replacement combo or create a new form, copy and paste all controls except the combo which I'd recreate.

Have seen several complaints about such odd behaviors when all was well. They blame it on an update and I've seen the M$ notes acknowledging the issue and saying they are working on a fix. Unfortunately I cannot recall the specifics but you could probably research it and see if you think it applies if you get no solution after going the corruption route. The recommended fix was to roll back the update.
