    Datepicker not showing in subform

I have a subform where users will be able to enter in dates. I have the DatePicker setting set to "For Dates" and their is no input mask for the field. I've searched but I cant find any solutions.

The user selects criteria in the mainform using combo boxes and the subform displays the data in datasheet view so user can update multiple rows easily.

Is the field defined as being Date/Time type in the table?
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Try setting the format property in the subform for the field in question to "short date".

Well whats interesting about this, the table is in SQL and the field is set as DATE but not DATE/TIME. However in Access if I click on the linked table in design view its Short/Text.

I may need to change it in SQL to Date/Time so Access will recognize it as a Date field. I don't think Access recognizes SQL's DATE data type.

This worked. I changed the datatype to DateTime in SQL and relinked the table in Access. Access doesn't recognize the DATE data type in SQL as a Date field.
