    About Database documentation methods

I need suggestions on to provide "about this database" information. I want it to be part of the Databases. Ideally it would be great if the DB can produce a report that details what object is for, what purpose it serves and how it functions. The information will be used by beginning Access DB users.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the properties of each field have descriptions,
the table also has properties box.
I also make a module that holds only notes on functionality.

I have seen orgs that insist on
-a User Manual --could be a WORD doc showing the system in overview (graphic) and subsequent details of each major Function and the user's expected participation/action. I have seen posts where this done in html with hyperlinks from Access form(s)( beyond a basic Help system)
    - some have had consultants/developers prepare a 5-10 min video overviewing the system/database with emphasis on technical details /programming/design/backup/recovery (sometimes this is in addition to technical manuals)
-some have a quality assurance/acceptance procedure with specific deliverables when the application is accepted from the developers and testers

Just a few thoughts for consideration.
