    Weird query result

I have a search query that has comboxes that filter it. It seemed to be working fine but now that I added all of my data, when I choose option EMP_ID = 1 it shows EMP_ID = 1 and 12? I am confused of how my criteria does this. I did have Like "*" & originally but they were removed and both results still show up. Any idea what could be wrong? Thank you for your time.

The wildcard means to select any value starting with 1 and followed by anything else. If you no longer have wildcard, should not do that.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

I believe it is other criteria that affects the query but if I remove the Like from their criteria, I no longer get results

    Can't help if I can't see it.

I never use dynamic parameterized query. I prefer VBA to build criteria and apply to form or report. http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html

At the very least, post the details about the combo: row source, column count, bound column and search sql.
Kind of hard to troubleshoot from here as is.
