    SelectAllRecords command

I have a macro that opens the form [fQBTempSuppAddToQbOnline] (with record source [tQBTempSuppAddToQBOnline] )
and I've added the RunMenuCommand SelectAllRecords

    then the following command "copy"
then openform [fQBOnlineSupplierListTEMPTUPDATE] (with record source [tQBOnlineSupplierListTEMPTUPDATE] )
    then runMenuCommand "paste"

this will open the intended form, copy all the records in the form, and paste them in the other form.

There is only 1 field in the form [fQBTempSuppAddToQbOnline] called [NEWSUPPLIER]

so basically i am copying a list of new suppliers from one form and pasting them in another form.

what is happening though is the data being pasted isn't the CONTENT of the field (the supplier's name) but rather the field name "NEWSUPPLIER" and below it (in the same field) the supplier name.

when I paste what is being captured by the "copy" command into an excel spreadsheet i get two fields of data "NEW SUPPLIER" and the supplier name i'm intending to paste.

Can someone show me the proper way to open the form and copy all the records in the form (without copying the field name as well) and paste this data into a new form?

    thanks in advance.

Why copy/paste between forms and not use append query to move data between the forms' record sources (tables)? And why do you duplicate the data anyway, maybe you could give us a bit more info on the db structure.

You do realize that forms do not "store data" like a spreadsheet, right?

A Form is a "window" to see /display the data from a table/query.

    Cheers,
I see what you mean now. Appending the data to the table is better.....
    thanks,
