Resize a subform inserted into a Report

    Hi everyone,

Maybe this is an easy question...

I have an issue about a subform inserted into a report; the issue is that the subform is to big. When I "load" the view the subform is shown incomplete

I would like to know if there is a way to "resize" this automatically into the Report

    Thanks in advance!

    Charly

    No. Use a subreport instead.

    Hi June7

And the subreport can be resized? or would be the same?

I meant I could easy create a "small copy" of my form that is the "subform in the report" but I would like avoid to have duplicated things in my "app"

Forms by nature do not resize to fit data - that's why they have scroll bars. Reports do dynamically adjust in length to accommodate records.

These are different objects for different purposes, not duplication.

Making one do job of other can sometimes work but not as easily nor as well.

Depending on data included in report, a subreport might not even be needed.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
