Newbie- Importing data into MS 365 ACCESS - Help!

Hi, Sorry if I'm in the wrong section but I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for. The last time I was on here was 2016 trying to buy ACCESS 2016 standalone and I scored. Four years later, my laptop is on it's last leg and I need to export the data from ACCESS 2016 to MS 365 ACCESS. I have exported it but the problem that I am having is, importing it. Once I import it, it only shows the main table but doesn't transfer the queries and the reports which I need. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

All other transfers that I have done in the past have been easy. This one not so much.

PS- I am not technical nor do I know how to program anything in ACCESS, I just know how to add data and run reports.

Thanks for any help in advance.

    Wendie

Probably not. I'll try it again and let you know. Thanks for your suggestion.

    Wendie,
Your profile says Access 2003, yet your post is about moving from 2016 to 365???
Are you trying to move a *.mdb to *.accdb?
If you save a 2016 database to a USB, you can probably open it on O365 Access. I do that quite often.

Sorry about that, I just changed my profie to ACCESS 2016. I am going to ACCESS 2016, opening it up to the main table and clicking the EXTERNAL DATA tab and then dowloading to Excel Workbook. Then downloading that file in the cloud in order to open it up on my new laptop. Am I on track so far?

Where and why does Excel apply? You have an Access database and you want to move it to Access in Office 365 on your new laptop?
