MS Access 2010 Web Application with SQL server

    Hello!

I have a question about creating web application in Access 2010.
I want to use tables from SQL server 2008 (like .adp format).

Can I do it? I create a "web database" project and import tables from SQL server but I can't see these tables in the browser after publishing application on internet...

To be honest, as soon as you want to go online, go away from Access. 2010 is the first time Microsoft is really allowing Access to go online, and as we all know with first year Microsoft advances, they dont work out too well. php/MySql is your best bet, not to mention it's free.

To directly answer your question, yes you can do it. You're breaking new ground in this though as this is the first time Access to SQL Server is a real option and there aren't many people who have much experience in making it work to give you quality advice.

Microsoft - best I can tell - is pushing two web-based solutions that invlove Access:

    SharePoint (Access Services) and Azure.

    For example see:

    Access 2010 and SQL Azure
