We have 12 Access databases, all created in 64-bit Access 2016, five of these databases are 1.3 GB to 1.9 GB in size. I deleted some of the data in the five larger databases and attempted to compact them, but for each I get the system resource exceeded message. Occasional queries will also throw this error. I decided to migrate the Access databases to SQL, but I get the same message. The database format is ACCDB, and I can't even export these to MDBs because of the resource exceeded message. I'm on a Dell Latitude 5501, with less than 50% memory (of 16GB) in use during the process, around 120 GB free on the drive, and an i7 processor that is basically idling. I've been working on a solution off and on for two weeks, and I simply can't make any progress. I've Googled a bunch, but I've not found the answer. Any suggestions?
