    How to split a big table access in sevrals table then in sevral excel sheet ?

    Hello,

    I want to know if it's possible to split a big table access in several table then in several excel sheets in function of codes in a column ?

    ACCESS 2013 64 bits
    Table more than 2 giga


    If tit's not possible in ACCESS is it possible in others softwares ?

    if the table is more that 2Gb then you won't get it into access in the first place. Suggest use sql server or similar. (express is free with a 10Gb limit)

    And if my table is under 2GIGA it's possible or not into ACCESS ?

    access limit is 2gb - if your table is smaller than that, say 1.8gb to allow some wriggle room, then it can be done - put the table in one db and your destination tables in another db.

    Note that ideally you would want to add indexing so your append queries work faster, you may or may not be able to depending on whether your table is 'short and wide' or 'tall and thin'. In this instance, 'short and wide' will have a better chance of being able to apply indexing

    You may want to explore Power Query to split your table.

    ok by using the power query in access i can split my table in several sheets ?

    is there any steps to follow ? if there is an example of any case in order to adapt to my case ?
