Question File Names in "Open Recent Database" list

    Greetings!

I have just recently purchased Office 2007 so I am both a necomer to Access and to this forum.

I would like to know if there is a way to delete a file name from the "Open Recent Database" list that appears at startup.

I've deleted one of the files it refers to so I would like it not to appear in the list.

Thanks to anyone who can advise me how to go about it.

    Regards Ron

    Delete File Name

    Thanks ajetrumpet,

I've tried all the conventional ways but nothing works.

It's not critical but its darn right annoying when expensive professional software won't allow you to do what you want!

    thanks Ron

    Do it from the registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\A ccess\Settings

Delete any MRU (string) files that you do not want.
I also deleted the MRUDate (string), and MRUFlag (dWord)
