    Acess 2007 & SQL question

    Dear All,

I have an Access database that i have connected with an MS SQL server. In a table I have e.g. User Name and User ID. Both fields are "combo box". I want when i type the User ID to show the name and vise versa. I know this is possible when you have local tables (i have done it in the past), but now it doesn't work. Any ideas how or can you point me to the right place where i can find the information myself?

    Thank you in advance.

Are you attempting to use LookupFields? http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm

Assuming this SQL table or a query of it is the RecordSource of the form, using the ComboBox wizard and selecting Option #3 should get you a cbo that does what you want.
